In mid-February, several SMSC employees and team members braved the wind and cold to help set up for the 2022 Polar Plunge held at Sand Point Beach in Prior Lake. The extreme winter event supports the Special Olympics of Minnesota. #SMSCgives volunteers assisted with a variety of tasks to prepare for the event, including helping to set up heated tents, docks, banners, and barricades, as well as organize incentives and merchandise.

This year’s Polar Plunge broke records with $238,000 raised during this event! Thank you to every volunteer who helped contribute to this inspiring and meaningful cause.
