Volunteers Help Provide Hunger Relief to Local Communities
In late February, #SMSCgives volunteers safely gathered at the Mystic Lake Center to help pack meals for Harvest Pack, a hunger relief nonprofit. Although COVID-19 posed some challenges to this year’s event protocols, the group successfully packed 32,384 meals—exceeding the goal of 27,000 meals. The Community Action Partnership (CAP) Agency helped distribute these meals to local communities in Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties. Thank you to all who volunteered to make a difference!
