In late June, #SMSCgives partnered with the CAP Agency and Second Harvest Heartland to host a food rescue distribution for local families in need. While teaming up with retail grocers in our communities to divert food from being thrown away, a total of 186 families were able to receive free bags of fruits, vegetables, and other produce.
