In late August, #SMSCgives partnered with the CAP Agency and Second Harvest to host a food/produce distribution for local families in need. With safety precautions in place, SMSC employees volunteered their time to help sort and bag produce for drive-thru distribution. Dozens of people showed up in their cars to receive fresh fruits and veggies, at no cost. Working together, hundreds of pounds of fresh produce have been distributed to people in need, providing dozens of local families with safe access to healthy, wholesome foods. Thank you to all who volunteered to help make a positive difference in the community!
